Press review: Interview from Radio Scotland

Summary about an interview from Radio Scotland

Today I'd like to tell you some things which i listened to, the other day, at Radio Scotland.
In the interview it is all about shopping and the radio programme is moderated by Lisa Cameron, who has two very exciting guests in her studio.
I've heard this interview in school and i found it very interesting because the guests, Ann Gordon and Jim Hudson had a exciting discussion about, why online shopping got so popular in the last years and what are the problems about it.

I thought you might be interested because certainly everyone of you has ever bought something in the internet and the problem of it is, that mostly the stuff is delivered in the time about midday. And at that time only a few people are at home and can receive the delivery.

What Ann basically said is that people also like to go out to go shopping and she thinks that this is also the reason why so many e-commerce companies busted.
After that Jim also mentioned that the internet trade is growing nearly all around the world and it's quite common that people buy their flight tickets online.
What interested me most was that the reason why most of the companies which broke down, is not the delivery problem or anything else - it was because they just sold things which nobody wanted.

Me personally, I partly agree with both experts. On the one hand i think that internet trade is a very convenient way to get goods, but on the other hand i also think that people have to go out to go shopping because it's not good to start buying everything online.
